The Worthy Gemology Team

Worthy’s in-house diamond lab is headed up by our world-class gemology team, made up of jewelry experts and gemologists with many years of experience under their belts. The team is headed up by Roy Albers, who has worked with some of the world’s top jewelry brands. Our gemologists are all graduates of the GIA, or Gemological Institute of America, and are tasked with performing in-house evaluations on incoming jewelry before it is sent out to a third-party diamond lab for external, non-biased grading.
