The sun is out, the ice cream is cold, and summer is in full swing-ish. While this might not be the summer you had planned on enjoying this year, with all the upheavals this year has thrown us so far, we hope you can find some time for fun! And to match the sparklers that lit up the sky this past weekend, here are some sparklers of our own from June’s auctions.
We saw a variety of exquisite pieces in June, ranging from classic rings and watches to glitzy earrings and bracelets. Two stand-out bracelets we loved were the art deco-inspired platinum and diamond bracelet (#6) and the gold bracelet featuring a rainbow of diamond colors, ranging from G to fancy yellow in color grade (#8).
There was also the exceptional Tacori earring and bracelet set (#9) featuring princess diamonds set in gold. Tacori is a brand best known for its master craftsmanship and this matching set is a testament to that. However, diamond bracelets and matching sets may not be so practical for your every day, whether you are working from home or even going into the office. If you don’t feel like your lewk needs this level of glam on a regular basis, selling items like these could pay for other big-ticket items you depend on.
We also saw some spectacular classic rings, such as the Tiffany & Co. bridal set (#1), and the emerald-cut halo (#7). Rings like these high-quality diamonds can fetch a nice price at auction and, while you may not necessarily consider that sparkler on your finger (or wherever it lives right now) to be a financial asset, you may be missing out on an easy way to start saving for yourself and your loved ones.
