7 Stats Prove Women Are Better At Money Than They Think

With the goal of learning how our clients feel about financial matters, at the beginning of the spring we launched the Make It Rain Quiz. By entering, participants earned a chance to win one of ten yearly subscriptions to YouNeedABudget, a leading personal finance app, plus the grand prize of $1,000 in seed money for their next project.The quiz consisted of six questions. Some of them were trivia questions on technical financial knowledge and had one correct answer. And some were personality questions that referred to the participant’s relationship with money and had no right answer. By working also as a survey, the project helped us gain valuable insights on what women know about key financial matters versus how they feel about them.The contest ran from March 21st through May 3rd, and we received 4.8K responses. The infographic below summarizes our Make It Rain Quiz results and shows that, like Dena Landon says, “We aren’t lacking in financial smarts, we’re lacking in confidence.”
