Much like a box of Valentine’s Day chocolates, our auctions last month were filled with sweet treasures we think are worth a second look. Whether you’re fond of big statement pieces or the subtle hint of glitter, there is something to catch everyone’s eye in Worthy’s February auctions.
We were thrilled to receive not one but two beautiful Harry Winston watches this month. Harry Winston is synonymous with fame and fortune as it is a favorite jewelry house to many celebrities, including the late Elizabeth Taylor. We were lucky enough to have one of the brand’s most recent models, the Midnight Skeleton, come through our offices this month as well as a beautiful art deco watch, both pictured below.
While diamond pendants come and go, the three-strand woven gold necklace we received is anything but ordinary. In addition to the unique metalworking technique used in this necklace, there’s also a fair amount of bling, including diamonds and rubies.
If you’re sick of your solitaire ring or want to add some splash to your hands, get inspired by the some of the statement rings from this month’s auction. We are particularly fond of the sapphire halo ring pictured below and can’t help but notice that it bears significant resemblance to Duchess Kate Middleton’s heirloom engagement ring.
Do you have a necklace, watch, ring or any other piece of diamond jewelry that’s cramping your style? Consider selling it and then come to Worthy, where our online auction platform connects you to hundreds of professional, qualified buyers to get you the best price for your item.

Wonderful breakdown article discussing the fine line that faintly defines high jewelry pieces from fine jewelry, using an argument that aligns high jewelry with more of a bespoke artpiece-like nature to it, imbued with the personality and perception of the artist-jeweler behind it.
