The days are getting shorter and the air is turning cool and crisp so we’re turning to our recent auctions for some fall inspiration to get us into the autumn mood (alongside a pumpkin-spiced drink, that is). So without further ado, here are our best items from September 2022’s auctions.
Last month we had the pleasure of having a few extra special items come through our auctions, beginning with the Van Cleef and Arpels Perlee Clovers bracelet in rose gold (#4 below). The Maison has long been known for their jewelry featuring floral motifs; this perlée piece is no exception. Another show-stopping bracelet from September is the gold and yellow diamond tennis bracelet that features 66 fancy yellow-colored diamonds (#3 below). Small they might be, but they create a beautiful piece when featured together. And finally, we have the diamond chandelier earrings (#5 below) which feature a combination of round and briolette shapes diamonds to create two ultra-Romantic, ultra-glam pieces.
September also brought in a number of notable watches and we were major fans of two almost opposite timepieces. The first is the ultra-feminine, ultra-elegant Piaget Dancer (#7 below), a white gold and diamond watch that has been popular since the 1980s. The second is the ultra-technical Breitling Navitimer (#9 below) which includes every extra nautical add-on under the sun.
While these pieces may be pretty, they may not be as practical as say, a pair of versatile diamond studs and an ultra-sleep Apple watch.
