Top 10 Featured Auctions from July 2020

This month our auctions have been a sizzling as the weather! Let’s have a look at some of the most spectacular pieces from July’s auctions – from OMEGA to Patek Philippe, from Tiffany & Co. to Cartier, we’ve sold quite the array of items. 

Drop It Like It’s Hot 

We’ve been noticing drop necklaces and earrings a lot recently on the Worthy auctions and this month we saw two extraordinary pieces come up. The first is the pair from Tiffany & Co.’s Jazz collection (#6 below) featuring 6 round-cut diamonds. The second is a pair of art-deco inspired blue diamond earrings (#7). Talk about statement pieces!

Two of the biggest names in luxury watches graced our auctions this month – OMEGA and Patek Philippe. We love the clean, crisp look of the OMEGA Seamaster Co-Axial (#3 below) but our eyes were drawn to the look (and sale price!) of the Patek Philippe Aquanaut (#9).  These two pieces gave us plenty to talk about. 

While luxury jewelry and watches are gorgeous to look at, you may be finding that in your new normal (however it looks), your opportunities for wear are less and less. If that’s the case, you may want to consider selling those pieces and putting that money toward a myriad of things, such as your retirement savings (practical) or a lavish spa day (less so).
