We are heading into summer fast and furious but while the temps outside might be rising, our auctions are keeping cool with lots of ice (diamonds, that is). Let’s have a look at a few of the more noteworthy pieces from May’s auctions.
While Worthy receives items that run the gamut of jewelry styles, some of our own favorites are art-deco inspired pieces. Items like the round-cut diamond bracelet (#8) and yellow pave Tiffany’s bracelet (#4) are certainly stunning and wonderful accessories when planning an elegant work. However for those looking to tone their looks down for something more every day, consider selling what you have and changing up a snazzy diamond bracelet for something more practical.
While you may have favored a big, flashy diamond in the past, you may no longer be interested in rocking such a big stone. The owners of three massive diamonds (#7, #9, #10) decided that their rocks were of better off as cash and sold them for $20k plus! Sure, a big diamond is nice, but so is paying off debt or taking a once in a lifetime vacation!
