Feeling a little down from the endless cold gray winter? Well we’ve got some glittering gems from last month’s auctions to perk you up. 

Colored Gems 

While we love the look of a classic white diamond (also known as a colorless diamond), there’s something extra special about facy colored diamond jewelry. Yellow diamonds, such as the cushion cut stone featured in #4 below, make for a more classic look. A famous example is Tiffany’s yellow diamond which has been worn by some of the biggest celebrities, such as Lady Gaga and Beyonce. 

Pink diamonds pack more of a punch, with their bolder color giving a more exotic look. Last month we saw two items featuring pink diamonds, including the Tiffay & Co. earrings (#8) and round-cut necklace (#6). 

Not only did these pieces bring a little extra zing to our auctions last month, they also brought in a nice bit of extra cash for the sellers. So if you’re thinking of how to brighten up your next season with a getaway, consider selling your unworn jewelry. 

Watch Brands With A Bang

If there’s one place where brands are important, it’s with luxury watches. And last month we saw two watches come in from two of the biggest luxury watch brands that aren’t  Rolex. The first is the women’s Cartier Tank Francaise (#9), one of the brand’s most popular watch models. The second is the Omega Co-Axial DeVille (#10), one of Omega’s more elegant watches created in the late 1960s. 

For some individuals, watch collecting is a lucrative hobby. But whether you are a collector or just a person with a luxury watch you don’t wear anymore, selling it with Worthy can be very worth it.
